Seripa and Bardock

So, a few weeks ago, I was thinking: Dragon Ball Z first aired in Brazil back in 1999, that's pretty much 10 years since I first saw the series.

Considering that I almost never watched reruns, and when I did, it was with my brain turned off, that's aldo pretty much how long since I've seen it.

With that in mind, I decided to re-read the manga from the very beggining to the end because well, it's easier and quicker than watching a shit load of episodes.

But as I went on, I started getting really nostalgic, expecially towards the anime, and I've decided that since I haven't been watching any anime recently (except for One Piece, but that's just once a week ), I'd start watching Dragon Ball Z again. Why not start since Dragon Ball? Well, I did watch some of the early episodes way before DBZ (Which was also the reason I was so excited when it was announced here ), but really, i'm doing this mostly for nostalgia factor, it's not like the series doesn't hold up by itself, not at all, it's just that I don't realy have the patience to sit through filler that I have no emotional attachment to it, not to mention the brazilian dub of DB really sucks. (I could watch the japanese version, but there's the filler problem again )
Hell, I'm even considering rewatching GT, which is something I'll most likely regret later on
Also, fuck Kai and it's stupid ass censorship

So anyway, not only am I watching the anime again, but I'm also re-watching the TV specials and the movies, which leads me to this piece
I think Bardock's special is great, and I felt like drawin Seripa too, so there you have it XD
I'd say I'll draw more DBZ fanart soon, but everytime I say that, I end up doing jack shit, so I hope you just enjoy it, and wasn't too bored by this wall of useless information
PS: I know i fucked up with Bardock's arm, sorry xD

Então, umas semanas atrás, eu estava pensando: Dragon Ball Z estreiou no Brasil em 1999, isso é praticamente 10 anos desde que eu vi a série pela primeira vez.

Considerando que eu quase nunca assistia reprises, e quando eu via, era com meu cérebro desligado, esse é basicamente o tempo que tem desde que eu vi o anime.

Com isso em mente, resolvi re-ler o mangá desde o começo, porque é mais fácil e ráido do que assistir uma porrada de episódios.

Mas conforme foi passando, eu comecei a ficar bem nostálgico, especialmente em relação ao anime, e decidi que já que não estou vendo nenhum anime recentemente (com excessão de One Piece, mas isso é uma vez por semana ), eu começaria a assistir Dragon Ball Z de novo. Por que não começar com Dragon Ball? Bem, apesar de eu ter assistido boa parte dos episódios na éoca do SBT (que aliás, foi o motivo de eu ter ficado extremamente animado com a notícia de DBZ estreiando por aqui ), mas sério, eu tô fazendo isso mais pela nostalgia, e não é que a série não consiga ficar de pé por si só, não mesmo, é só que eu não tenho paciencia pra ver fillers nos quais eu não tenho nenhum sentimento ligado, sem dizer que a dublagem brasileira é bem ruinzinha. (Eu até poderia assistir a versão japonesa, mas aí vem o problema do filler de novo )
Diabos, estou até considerando reassistir GT, que é algo que provavelmete vou me arrepender depois

De qualquer modo, não só estou vendo o anime de novo, mas também estou revendo os especiais de TV e os filmes, o que me leva a esse desenho
Eu acho o especial do Bardock fodástico, e tava afim de desenhar a Seripa também, então é isso XD
Eu diria que desenharia mais fanart de DBZ em breve, mas toda vez que prometo algo assim termino não fazendo bosta nenhuma, então espero que gostem, e que não tenham se entediado demais com toda essa informação inútil
PS: Sei que fiz merda no braço do Bardock, foi mal XD
