Waifu Month 23 - Kasugano Sakura

What's that? Another energetic fun tomboy? Why, you might say I like this kind of character!

Sakura and the rest of the Street Fighter cast has had a bunch of different interpretations in the past, and while I enjoy most of them, I think my favorite is probably the one by Masahiko Nakahira on his Sakura Ganbaru! manga, there's something about the way he writes the Street Fighter characters in his manga that is very envolving I think.

I especially like the ending (spoilers of course) where Sakura becomes a gym teacher, I think that's a perfect career for her, and apparently that has become canon with the games in Street Fighter IV AE, so I'm happy about that (Though I wish they would stop using the school outfit as her main for these new games, the Street Fighter timeline is a mess, but isn't she supposed to be pretty old by now? )

Either way, I enjoy playing as her whenever she's a playable character, even though I SUCK at fighting games, hahaha
